I posted a question under an existing thread several days ago and have gotten no response. I am trying to find out if an update I did to my program makes me 5010 compliant. Could someone please respond to me???

Yes, Advanced 8 is 5010 ready and has the ability to submit in that format. You should be all set to proceed. If you have any additional questions please contact the EDI Departmant.
