Originally when I billed Medicare as secondary I was told that I needed to include on the other insured Id screen, indicators, CNI the amount that I am excepting. Today, I submitted a claim and I received an error message stating, Segment CN1 (contract information) is used. It is not to be used under HIPAA. CN1 is defined in the guidelines at position 1600.

How do I resolve this issue?
