Inquiring if EZ Claim Advanced 8 Release 10 is version 5010 compliant to Medicare Part B Palmetto. Is EZ Claim currently included in the updated listing as a Palmetto Medicare Part B Approved 5010 Errata Vendor?

When I send a test using version 5010, the analyzer returns a "Mismatch".

Also, when i send in production version 5010, the analyzer returns the following message: "Interchange Control Number __ for Receiver ID __ Cannot be processed at this time due to the following error: Trading Partner NOT eligible to submit productio Transaction...

Please advise.

Please contact the EZClaim EDI department at 877-650-0904. Yes, we are an approved Part B Palmetto vendor. You may need to fill out the 5010 Production form and will need our vendor id.

I just did the update on the EZCLAIM Advanced 8 that I use. Is it now 5010 ready? Once I fill out the CEDI production migration paperwork, am I all set to proceed? Or do I need to send a test claim first? (If I need to submit a test claim, how do I do that?)

Yes, Advanced 8 is 5010 ready and has the ability to submit in that format. You should be all set to proceed. If you have any additional questions please contact the EDI Departmant.

PLEASE HELP!!!

I have submitted a claim and it was not accepted, it is still in 4010 format. I was told by my clearing house that:
the ISA line still says 4010 file
and
the GS line says 4010 file

I have done the update, please tell me why I cannot file claims now. Do I need to do something else? I was told I should be all set after downloading the update.

Please go to tools -> options -> submitter information and click on the submitter/receiver library, highlight the library entry and on the top right make sure the top version is selected. That’s where you select the 4010/5010 version.
