Additional Information
Although the ANSI 837 Billing Module allows for submitting claims electronically to a large number of insurance companies, most commercial insurance companies, Ex: Humana, do not accept ANSI 837electronic claim submission directly from the Provider. You, as the provider, need to contact the insurance company to ask if they accept direct claim submission or if you would need to submit batch claim files through a Clearinghouse. Note: Most insurance companies require the ANSI 837 file format.
