Although the ANSI 837 Billing Module allows your practice to submit claims electronically to a large number of insurance companies, most commercial insurance companies, Ex: Humana, does not accept ANSI 837electronic claim submission directly from the Provider. Your practice should contact the insurance company to ask if they accept direct, ANSI 837 claim submission or if you would need to submit batch claim files through a Clearinghouse. Note: Most insurance companies require the ANSI 837 file format.
